At ISC this year, the TPC Planning Team and TPC Technical Steering Group met and decided that TPC26 will be in the U.S. and TPC27 will be held in Europe. During TPC26 these teams met again and examined a detailed analysis of the community’s calendar for May through July. To avoid overlap with key events (e.g., ISC, SciFM, HPDC SIAM, CRA, PEARC…) we found the first week of June to be the best option. If you are interested in the data, including the deep research prompts, you can download from the TPC Slack workspace.

We are investigating venues in the Washington, D.C., area (within an hour of Dulles International Airport). Once we have selected a venue we will announce more details.

TPC Fall 2025 Hackathon: Collaborative Initiatives Hacking in Chicago, USA

The Fall 2025 TPC Hackathon will take place in Chicago on September 25-26.  Following discussions and a plenary session at TPC25, we are seeking to identify, define, and incubate collaborative initiatives that will accelerate AI for Science, leveraging the resources and talent across the TPC community.  Thus, rather than hacking code, this event will involve hacking TPC strategies and plans.

To maximize input from across the community, sessions will be open for remote viewing and participation.   The Fall 2025 TPC Hackathon web page provides background on the potential collaborative initiatives and the agenda for this hackathon, along with a registration link for those who can join in person (no registration required for remote participants).
