Happy New Year – this update brings you several important calendar announcements.

January 27-28 — TPC Track at SCA/HPCA26 — Osaka

During the annual Supercomputing Asia / HPC Asia conference there will be two days of invited talks from TPC participants and leaders (January 27 and 28).  Rio Yokota (Institute of Science Tokyo) has led the creation of a strong program comprising some of the best papers from the TPC Workshop at SC25 as well as invited talks from multiple TPC leaders.  If you are in Osaka please join us!

April 14-16 — TPC Spring Hackathon — Hosted by CINECA in Bologna, Italy

CINECA and TPC are partnering with NVIDIA and Open Hackathons to explore a hybrid approach to hackathons.  This hackathon will begin with virtual sessions on March 31 (Day 0: Introductions/primer) and April 7 (Day 1: Team startup coordination), helping groups to be fully prepared to work together in person (and with remote collaborators)  at CINECA on Days 2-4 (April 14-16).  We are seeking leaders with projects that they wish to bring to the Hackathon for others to help.  If you have a project you wish to bring to the hackathon, please apply here before February 19. For those wanting to join a team and participate, we will have a registration process available with more logistics details in early March.

May 31 – June 4 — TPC26! — Baltimore Inner Harbor

We had three dozen volunteers to participate in the program committee for TPC26, which is now just over 130 days away.  We are planning for two days of hackathons and tutorials (Sunday/Monday) followed by 3 days of plenaries and parallel breakouts (Tuesday-Thursday).  In the coming weeks we will be providing more details on registration and venue as well as opportunities to propose contributions to the event including tutorials, breakout sessions, and lightning talks.  For a feel for the atmosphere of a TPC all-hands please see this 4-minute trailer we put together following TPC25!

Is there a fantastic speaker you think would bring value to TPC26?  You can propose TPC26 invited speakers and keynotes here.
