Registration is Open for TPC26
TPC’s second annual all-hands gathering, TPC26, will take place in Baltimore, MD, May 31-June 3. The event will feature a hackathon, tutorials, plenary sessions, breakout sessions, vendor tables, and a job fair. Its goal is to share best practices, use cases, tools, and educational opportunities for utilizing AI at scale to solve scientific discovery and engineering challenges.
What’s New in TPC26?
TPC26 will be keynoted by Dario Gil, Under Secretary for Science, Department of Energy. Additional Keynotes include Rick Stevens (Argonne/ U Chicago), Thierry Pelegrino (AWS), Satoshi Matsuoka (RIKEN), Katie Antypas (NSF), Noah Smith (AI2/U Washington), and other international leaders from industry, academia, and laboratories.
Many TPC participants are active in leading initiatives such as the US Genesis Mission and/or NAIRR Pilot, EU’s AI Factories, and Japan’s AI4Science. Attendees can plan their TPC experience around plenaries and parallel sessions woven through with speakers from these and other initiatives. TPC26 will feature eight parallel breakout tracks this year that are oriented around a set of collaborative initiatives ranging from frameworks for AI systems to driving science and engineering applications, which have been gathering momentum since initially proposed at TPC25. Please Share Your Ideas — TPC26 is a Participatory Conference!
Parallel breakout slots will accommodate existing TPC working groups and Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) sessions. The latter may be initiatives or multi-institutional projects seeking collaborators, prospective new TPC working groups, or other topics of general interest to the TPC community. Each parallel session features lightning talks that seed collaborative discussions.
